Tinkerbell

The dress of this Tinkerbell cosplay is based on the 1953 Peter Pan version of Tinkerbell's dress. 

This Tinkerbell Cosplay made in 2021 is made with a boned corset base, back lacing and an invisible zipper closure on the over dress. In the corset is a separate piece sewn into the over dress to structure the outer dress and give the wearer ease when putting to cosplay on. This costume was my first attempt at a fully boned corset, original pattern based on the Dolores corset by Aranea Black Corsets.

The wings are based on the 2008 animated TInkerbell movie. Constructed of a wirebase, iridescent fabric was then sewn onto the wirebase with gold embroidery thread.
